I Promise to Vote

As a Christian, I recognize that political influence is an imperative means of bringing justice, goodness, and a strong moral compass to society. Among the most impactful ways of ensuring that such virtue exists in both the political sphere and the culture is to vote.

Christians are not called to the sidelines while injustice and evil take center stage in our communities. We are called to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). Biblical stories through the Old and New Testaments illustrate God’s use of His people to engage and combat evil, to elevate justice, and to protect the defenseless.

Therefore, as a tangible act of obeying this biblical calling and serving as a faithful steward of my God-given rights, I commit today to register to vote, to always vote for candidates who will stand by policies that reflect biblical truth, and to share truthful information as I engage my community on the importance of voting.
