A voter in New Hampshire is eligible to vote absentee under the following circumstances:

The voter will be absent from is or her polling location on the day of the election.

The voter will be unable to vote on Election Day for religious reasons.

The voter is physically disabled and thus unable to visit the polls.

The voter is unable to visit the polls due to military service.

The voter is unable to visit the polls “because an employment obligation requires [the voter] to remain physically at work or to be in transit to or from work from the time the polls open until the time the polls close.”
